F.A.Q.
A workshop is a 1 hour virtual wedding consultation designed to answer your specific wedding planning questions, ensure the couple is on track with the planning process, and ease wedding planning related stress. Workshops are hosted via Zoom. Meeting notes are e-mailed within 48 hours of the workshop conclusion.
A timeline workshop is a 30-minute virtual meeting to help the WedUcator understand the couple’s wedding day vision, to craft the best timeline for the big day. Timeline consultations will need to complete the e-mailed questionnaire 48 hours prior to the workshop and can expect their completed timeline within 5 days after the workshop.
Group workshops are virtual meetings designed to WedUcate brides and grooms on a specific topic. Up to 24 participants may be logged in for group workshops. Topics are pre-determined. Q & A time at the end of the workshop is based on availability.
Each custom workshop is 1 hour long.
While most couples would like guidance from the get-go, a workshop can be scheduled at any time during the planning process.
To schedule your workshop, click the “Schedule a Workshop” at the top of the page, then select the workshop that best fits your needs. After selecting your date, time and agreeing to terms and conditions, a payment prompt will appear.
Once a workshop is scheduled, a questionnaire will be sent to your provided email address. Completing and returning the questionnaire (5) days prior to your workshop date is the only preparation needed!
Budget, timeline, vendor contract, DIY projects, etiquette, and “how do I handle…” questions are best for ensuring couples are on track to host their dream wedding day.
Questions in relation to finding specific vendors in specific cities are not answered during workshops.
It is very important that the WedUcator works with each vendor personally, before recommending them for services. With workshop couples hosting weddings all over the USA, it is likely that the WedUcator is not familiar with vendor options in every city and has not had wedding experience with them, previously.
Absolutely! New questions may arise at any time during the planning process. Feel free to schedule additional workshops to review new questions or revisit questions from a previous workshop.
As recommended on the workshop questionnaire, it is best to order your questions by importance. If all questions are not answered during the allotted 1-hour time frame, additional workshops may be scheduled. It may also be helpful to search the WedUcation Workshops blog for information on questions that were not answered within the 1-hour time frame.
Of course not! While it is recommended that the bride(s)/grooms(s) are present for the workshop to ensure their wishes are being met, anyone involved in the planning process is welcome to schedule a workshop.
Nope! A timeline consult can absolutely be scheduled without having a previous workshop.
Once confirmed, custom, timeline and group workshops cannot be canceled or refunded. If a 24-hour notice is given via e-mail to info@weducationworkshops.com, the WedUcator will offer (1) reschedule to a later date. Reschedules are based on availability. Workshops may also be transferred to another bride or groom.
