Interested in a workshop but don’t know which is best for you? Let’s break it down:
- Custom Workshops:
- These are a 60-minute session with just the bride, groom, or the couple together. Two brides? Sweet! Two grooms? Sounds good to me! A bride and her MOH or MOB? That works too. Any combination of two people may sit in on a workshop. Upon selecting your date and time on the ‘Schedule a Workshop’ page, you will be prompted with terms and conditions before making payment. After payment is received and the terms and conditions are agreed to, you will receive a questionnaire to fill out and return prior to your workshop. The questionnaire will ask you to outline a few wedding details and (15) of your most pressing questions that you would like me to answer. You will also receive the link to our virtual meeting. During your 60-minute workshop, I will help to answer as many questions from your list as we have time for. Within (2) business days after your workshop, you will receive a document containing answers to all your questions, even if we were not able to discuss each one. No need to take notes during the workshop! Let yourself be fully present in the conversation and leave the note taking to me.
- Timeline Workshops:
- A timeline workshop is a 30-minute session designed to help me create your wedding day timeline. Just like a custom workshop, you will receive a questionnaire and link to the virtual meeting after completing payment and agreeing to terms and conditions. Within (5) business days of your timeline workshop, you will receive a detailed timeline to provide vendors, your wedding party, etc. No two wedding day timelines are the same. The size of a wedding party, the duration of a ceremony, when photos are being taken, travel time, and so many other factors determine how each timeline may need to be constructed. To ensure a smooth order of events, supply me with the pertinent information, and let me put the puzzle together!
- Group Workshops:
- Group workshops are just what they sound like; a group of brides and/or grooms taking part in a virtual workshop centered around a specific theme. Group workshops may have up to 24 participants and are 60 minutes long. Your WedUcator (me) tries to leave time at the end of the 60 minutes for a Q & A session, but that time is not guaranteed. Scheduling a custom workshop to ask questions specific to your wedding, is recommended. Following group workshops, you will receive a document outlining the topic discussed. Group workshops are hosted on Monday evenings from 8pm to 9pm EST. For a list of dates and group workshop topics, please visit the ‘Schedule a Workshop’ page.
